{children} Savannah farm, part one | Washington DC children’s photographer

When I booked a 1:1 workshop with Savannah childhood photographer Michelle L. Morris, I completed a questionnaire she sent as a “get to know you”. She would be scheduling shoots for us together during my time there, and there were some location options. A farm wasn’t one of the options, but in the “is there anything else I should know” section I tossed in that I’d love to shoot on a farm and my dream shoot includes animals.

Michelle exceeded expectations, booking time for us at the gorgeous Hunter Cattle Company.

there. were. ponies.

be still my heart there were ponies.

She had created my dream shoot for me, with chickens and goats to boot, and a dock and pond, and a sunset to die for.

{Super secret: I’m in the process now of looking for the right farm to work with so soon I can offer this kind of shoot to my clients. I don’t know when everything will be in place, but you should let me know if this is a shoot you’d be interested in!}
