Last October, I had the chance
to be in front of the camera for the first time in a very long time. My family had a portrait session with fellow photographer and great friend, Julie Kubal (Julie Kubal Photography). Julie was fantastic and I love our family photos. (I will do a blog post soon showing off how we framed and displayed Julie’s gorgeous photos of my family. Till then you can see them here.) Julie and I had worked out a family session swap, which meant Julie would also get her chance to be in front of my camera with her family.
I wanted fall pics, and she wanted spring. So as soon as weather permitted, we planned her shoot at one of my favorite locations: Woodend Audubon Sanctuary. This was my first time to shoot there with bare trees and the dullness of winter still hanging over the environment. But we had an unseasonably warm evening, with a clear sky and golden-hour sunlight, and I loved the warm woodsiness of the entire session.
My thanks to Julie for this swap!
