{family} fall light | Washington DC family photographer

nature, particularly fall,

is fleeting. Not unlike the early years of childhood. The field of milkweed off Military Road bursts into tiny white clouds for about two weeks every October. Here and gone. And for about 40 minutes every evening, the low sunlight of evening paints it golden and the white puffs glow with a light all their own.

I was so excited that Sara & Tony’s final Annual Pass session fell during this little window and we could take Ava and Lucas here for their family photos.
