Josie & Marian at Bishop’s Garden

I have a wonderful shelter, which is my family.
I have a wonderful relationship with my sister; this makes me feel that
I know always where I belong. -Jose Carreras

I have several clients who I get to see year after year. It’s an honor and a sincere privilege to watch their children grow up, and to see people become (and continue to be) devoted parents. It brings me such joy to witness the accomplishments and the ideals of their families….I get caught up on who made the soccer team, or who got straight A’s in school, and it makes me feel so included to be allowed a tiny peek into their lives. I am so grateful families allow me that sweet honor.

Jill has been one of my clients since 2014, when these beautiful girls were just wee ones. Josie and Marian have such an engaged and delightful mom, and I look forward to every shoot we have done together. This time, we were a bit fearful the rain was going to change our plans, but the downpour held off just long enough for us to capture this shoot in Bishop’s Garden. In fact, the slightly overcast feel brought soft colors to light in a fresh way. These energetic and enigmatic sisters are very affectionate and are up for just about any adventure. I love their explorer spirits, and feel really lucky with every session we do!

Jill, you’re doing a tremendous job as their mama. Two brave and beautiful little girls should
make you so proud!
